lol @ you saying peel out at lights.
Anyway yeah the 06 wrx and up are very nice. Stock my friends 06 wrx TR made 202.3whp and 227wtq. Stage one which costs aout 600 bucks brings most people to about 206whp and 235wtq. And stage 2 which is getting a TBE gives you about 225whp and 250wtq. After that you can get an intake, bigger intercooler, bigger hosing, and a pro tune and you get numbers like me. I have spend about 2k in mods.
So stock i had 200whp 225wtq now i have the numbers my sig says.
Stock wrx run from 13.7-14.3 depending on the driver and conditions. I ran a 12.87 1/4 and have about 320hp and close to 400 tq crank figures. But i baby my tranny and let the gears sync. Treat your car right and it will be nice to you.
Final word of advice dont get any wrx fom 02-05 there 2.0 liter engine has no torque.

I would have to agree with CBEDEVIL, if you can afford to get a STI then it's a no brainer.. If your like me and need a cheaper daily driver then I would go WRX and only go with a few mods.. Good luck and hopefully you start post pics of your STI.

the STI is a completely different car, everything from the dash to the motor .. suspension, brakes, wheels, exterior (lights/wing), tmic, interior, turbo and all.
You will spend $10-$15k making the wrx into a stocker STI, go with the STI unless its completely out of budget.
