Hennesy Viper Venom TT just set a record at 217mph at the Texas Mile and LPE comes right back within a few weeks and does 226mph.

BTW that car was on Corvettefourms and LPE said they tweaked a few things and are going for 230+mph.

Guys on the Vette forum hate the owner. Say he is a Di** and he doesn't even drive his own car.

LPE builds some sick.....cars..great shop and nice guys to talk to.

That is crazy fast. It reminded me of this vid of the record being set in an Evo2 at 202mph. Don't know if it's a different class or not. Props to Lingenfelter but cool to see any Evo over 200mph.

You need alot of power to get an evo over 200 lol... crap aerodynamics and drivetrain loss dont make for a very effecient top speed car.. Pretty easy to put a base vette in the 200s with just boltons and a cam due to the low drag.
