It's a drag car that's driven around town. 20" wide drag radials, a lockup clutch, etc. It's not street legal in the US, not even close. How it's legal in the UK is beyond me.

Driven on the street and street legal are vastly different. I'd guess the majority of the Evos owned by EvoM members are not street legal.

That car is BA... But worlds fastest, I think not. Ever heard of the worlds fastest street car competition?? Mid to low 6 sec. cars are all that are there. 60ft times in the .7 to .8 range is absurd. Those cars run 0-60 in 1 sec. 0-60 in that car is probably on the 1 sec range. 1.3 or 4 is my guess. But still Bad *** (for a brick)!!!

This Autoplus R34 top speed was done on a street, in fact it was even featured at Wikipedia. It may not be one sec on this vid but this was from off-boost to full spool. Imagine if it launched on boost. 60mph = 95kph. This one did 110kph on just 1st gear. Street legal? Definitely with all the comfort and the cold aircon.

I dont think its the fastest street legal car in the world. What about the livernoise mustang that runs like low 6's? Fast? yeah. fastest? questionable.
