Not me.

The LS2 C6 is 500 lbs lighter. It also makes about the same HP (14hp less) and a lot more torque (about 100 lb-ft more).

After reading that comparison, the RS4 seems like a much better daily driver. Im not going to track it(that's what the Evo is for) so I don't care if the M3 is a little faster on a race track.

The turbod 3 series traps what 104/5ish stock and nets 100hp with just a tune (going off of memory, too lazy to look again)

So it sounds likely a turbo'd 3 series will outperform a M3 on the straights with just a tune since the m3 is only 111is (so far)! Is that a correct statement?

C6 traps 112-113mph but is 400lb. lighter than the M3. 111mph is better than expected.

shorter gears and an extra 1900 revs to play around in? I would think the M3 should be a little closer. But i guess it's like the old saying goes " horsepower sells cars. torque wins races" -- Richard petty (?)

Looking forward to seeing how that engine will do in a new Z4 M roadster. Could be my next car...unless the SLK63 is out by then .

to me the new m3 is a whole experiance... yeah there are faster cars.... yeah the 335i with mods would kill it.... but come on who doesn't want to be on a mountain road hanging the tail of the car out while reving the snot out of it enjoying the the glorious noise of that magnificant v8 ... just thinking about it gives me a huge smile. god i want one... zero options what so ever (well maybe the shocks or what ever) white with some nice light weight bbs rims god i just got a hard on... jk
