there is 50K dollars in salvagable brake parts there! Anyone need some carbon ceramic brake pads, rotors with 6/4 piston calipers?!

If they can conclude that its the manufacturers fault, he will get a brand new car for nothing, otherwise, its a write off. Ferrari is really cool about taking care of their customers

Maybe on a 10 year old car. Even then, an overheating engine isn't hot enough to burn metal. I suspect a loose/cut fuel line spraying gasoline on the header would be more likely to start such a blaze.
