Update on my TurboLS1 S10

My S10 had a LS1 in it befor, But due to a lack of a fuel system, it burned a hole in a piston. I had a local shop build me a forged motor, but it has been a year since I paid for it, and still no motor has came. So I bought a crate LS1. So I decided to cut my losses and just put a stock LS1 back in. I got a bigger turbo. Its a PTE 71mm. .75 A/R and a .81 Exhaust. I had a 67mm before. It is a 6 speed camaro trans, and a STS turbo kit. (the rear mount kind)

Here are some pics.

Just gotta drop the motor in, bolt up the trans and hook the wires up.

Then I get to fire it up and tune it.

Cant wait. Im hoping to hit bottom 11s on 12lbs and meth.

Here are some pics before the motor blew, and with the origional LS1.

Hey man awesome S10 you have goin. Good luck with all the new mods. A friend of mine just finished up his 383 Sonoma. Heres some pics and a video of it doin a burnout. I imagine a turbo LS1 is going to be pretty damn fast

The new motor was an LS2. But like I said, the guy building it has had the ENTIRE motor at his shop in pieces for the last 18 months. And he lost a piston an rod. SO I said screw it and decided not to wait any more.

Just curious, do you know what the truck was running 1/4 mile wise before the engine blew?

I wish I could find pics of it, but theres someone local to where I live selling an s10 the same style as yours, and it has a procharged 540 under the hood.

Edit: Found pics of it. Its f/s in the wantads.
