The wiring and fit and finish on alot of that stuff looks horrible.

Engine wiring is just horrible, don't know if that is factory LS1 or not but the way it seems to be ran as well as loom/connectors its just sub-par in my standards.

correct. i've been tracking my blue one for 3 years now.
LS1's can have issues with oil cooling on the track if sessions are 20+ minutes, but this one has a nice oil cooler.
Also LS1's can face oil sloshing during a long turn but this one has an accusump which detects a drop in oil pressure and uses its own reserves.
Also it has "dual" valve springs which is a nice precaution to help prevent valve float and in case a single spring would ever break, the valve won't fall down because of the second spring.
So this one is pretty built up in the reliability dept.
