I got it!
99-02 Infiniti G20
You get the 4cly Nissan SR20DE (Which is a decent engine)
Touring models come with moonroofs, spoilers, and VLSD!!
Road noise is low.
Its a very nice car, I just wish I had found a nice one but I needed a car so the OZ Rally was my second pick...
And you get to say you drive an Infiniti, I have seen nice ones for around 7-8K

I have a '95 Pathfinder I bought almost 2 years ago for $2,500 bucks. 160k miles and still running strong!!

If you decided on a Si, my buddy in FL has a super clean '99 for under 9 grand for sale. So PM me if interested.

I think he was talking about a VW, though. Plus I doubt for 6-7K that car was legally registered and such.

Honda or toyota. Unless you need a diesel, then consider a VW.

Interesting you would say a 96 ek, thats the first year of that chassis - usually not recommended. Also, the Si coupe is only 99-00 for EK iirc.

Any paticular reason you would suggest that?

The accords are also growing on me as I look more and more at them.

Took a look at some miatas, just don't do it for me.

Because I drive one! Other than that, the 96 ek is a bit more modern the the 92. Solid motor, a little quieter, parts a pleanty, and cheap! Got mine for 2k....
