EVO'S are way better than Skylines anyway. Just look at the times. Evo VII and VI are faster and the VIII and IX are than both the R34 and R33. + its a 4 door saloon! The Skyline is supposed to be the best car every? But I say that the Evo is the best and alot cheaper! Best BANG 4 YOUR $$$$$! Still a cool looking car. I think the older skyline's are better.

I honestly didnt really care for the new Skylines at first, however since seeing the Motor Trend performance numbers I have changed my mind.
0 - 60 in 3.5 , 1/4 mile in 11.7, capable of 192 mph but limited to 186. Try finding a car thats cheaper that can do the same. There are not many out there. MOST vehicles in the ball park cost upwards of 100k.
I can only imagine what this car would be capable of once allowed to "breathe". If the stock turbos have another 50 - 100 whp left in them (by adding larger exhaust / down pipes, intake, + a few pounds of boost) , this car will be a complete monster... 10's on the stock turbos seem to be a reality...
I'll wait for the 2nd production year, but I will more than likely end up with one...

I suspect 10's are achievable with just a flash and an exhaust. That is once somebody finds out how to crack the ecu. As far as it being overpriced...well some would say the same thing about the Evo X IMO...atleast Nissan is making their new generation faster than there old generation unlike Mitsubishi.

They just got the Skyline, actually 2 of them, in mid November.
