lifetime warranty with 100 deductible FTL. If you need a cheap daily why not. Screw the haters, as long as its comfortable, and gets good gas mileage.

if you want a car for good mileage, get a honda fit or somethign like that. jeeps arent meant to be fwd gassippers. its a crime against humanity that this car exists.

o, and my last wrangler (04 rubicon) was like 32k. so yea they get over 30 grand
great info! nah...im coming from an Evo. you cant put me inside a fit. off-roading isnt my main focus right now..

something that can take me to school, work, leave the car in parking lots w/o getting worried that someone might hate on it and other long drives with my (future)off-road mountain bikes is all i need. the lancer is my best choice for my budget, but when i saw the patriot, i was a bit suspicious thats why i asked here.

I have a wrangler for sale right now. You think you would be interested in a wrangler?

you don't like the xb's? i wouldn't drive one either. what about a used base cherokee with the inline six. you can get one for a few grand and those last forever. just a thought. a new base imprezza? i looked on yahoo auto's and there is not much in your price range.

sounds good but if i was to buy a used car, it would be a sedan. (chevy malibu or dodge charger)..if brand new, patriot is one of my choice

My neighbor just bought TWO patriots. He originally got one for his home office just to lug parts and crap around in, but liked it so much he got another one for his wife and daughter. Too bad you're in Cali, or I'd say come by. He's such a cool guy, he'd probably let you test drive his.

FYI, the Wrangler is kind of pricey for what it is. My parents picked up an '08 (6-speed M/T) this summer. It's supposedly got a few option packages on it, but to me it seems pretty no-frills. They paid just a little under 22K I believe.
