Is it really me putting the X down or that I want to make the owners not be so high on their horse?

Is it jealousy?
To be jealous would mean I wanted a X. I saw 6 in the dealer parking lot today while I was getting my SRS ECU installed in my VIII. If I truly wanted one, I'd be driving one by now..

Why do you constantly try to prove to us why your car is better than ours?
This never entered the discussion..

You assume everyone buying the X is a first time Evo buyer and I don't think you could be more wrong.
Look at the latest poll of Evo X owners. Statistics is on my side..

Seriously: how old are you?
38.

Oh, and this is just for you:
If your X was sitting next to my VIII, the arrow would be the other way (for my needs)

your an idiot. All i was saying was you jumped to the conclusion that since he said his X outpreformed his VIII, he said he can beat anything on the road, which he didnt.
but good job going to ingore my whole point

You assume everyone buying the X is a first time Evo buyer and I don't think you could be more wrong. Thanks for your touching story of your first DE event because, I'm sure, none of us ever thought you needed an iota of skill to drive fast round a track.

lol, that pic is funny

pointless post. Why?
we know the X is better many ways.

Side note, not for you though.
Also i think as far as i see the most X owners are new comers. It is good ! The IX owners , for most of them would be a bad economy decision to get the X, yet. So i think that is one reason why dont see too many IX owners going to get a X.
The VIII owners, i dont know ...
I dont think the jelousy a reason. If you think that is a reason, you probably one jelous person...

Why? Is this some sort of public service you are providing to us X owners? You have taken it upon yourself to knock us down a peg or two? People who generally do this have insecurity problems. Just saying....

To be jealous would mean I wanted a X. I saw 6 in the dealer parking lot today while I was getting my SRS ECU installed in my VIII. If I truly wanted one, I'd be driving one by now..
Not true. You're jealous because every automotive journal and owner are hailing the X as the new Messiah in the Evo handling market and you want to stomp your feet and proclaim yours is the best. Jealousy doesn't mean you want one, you just don't want it to be better than yours.

This never entered the discussion..
BS. Every single post you make in this forum is a veiled 'put down' on the X. We get it: you don't like the car. Move the **** on. Go visit the IX forums and revel in the excellence of your car, or circle jerk, or whatever.

Look at the latest poll of Evo X owners. Statistics is on my side..
Yes, a single poll on this forum is enough to convince me that you are correct. EvolutionM is where every Evo owner visits and they all feel compelled to vote in the poll. Incidentally, I haven't voted in the poll.

38.
Is that your age in dog years?

Well, at least you're seeing the tail lights of my car, which is the view you would be getting used to if we met on track. You see, I do track my cars. Any time you are in Houston and would like to see how slow the X is on track then feel free to hit me up.

Hey man...you are the one hanging out in the X forum all day trashing them. I'd would be willing to bet a majority of X owners have previously owned an EVO...and more will follow.

Why did I post that? So that when people open this up it isn't a complete waste. At least there is some humor in here now.

I'm going to go create a "little wing > big wing" thread so we can't really start an inter-community controversy.

Is this the 'I know you are, but what am I' line of response?

That was one of the best Top Gear episodes I've ever seen. If only I could have a day with Jackie Stewart
