Hyundai's really stepped their game up on this one. The coupe looks a lot nicer than the sedan. Anyone know hp & torque? I wonder how much price will be, if they are going to take over the Tiburon market.

Official specs have been revealed at the NY auto show:
-> Turbo 2.0 liter 4cyl puts out 223hp with premium gas
-> V6 is 3.8 liter and puts out 310hp with premium gas
-> Front MacPherson strut and rear multilink suspension
-> Six speed manual standard on both trims
-> LSD optional on both trims
Bad news? Curb weight, both are porkers:
-> T4 weighs 3439lbs
-> V6 weighs 3518lbs
Also, here's a video of it doing burnouts:

Interesting... originally it was supposed to be released as an '09. It was slated for release in late 08 / early '09.
The word is it will be a de-tuned 4B11T. I have dont ALOT of research on this car.
So.... everyone keeps asking me what I was gonna build since I sold me Evo.... as long as it does stick with the 4B11T.....
This is the answer to that question. Ive kept it quiet for quite awhile.
The aftermarket world will take care of that. Dont worry!

I think it looks pretty kick-***. I'm torn between the new RA and WRX, mustang and camaro, and 350Z and genesis coupe. I know, very different cars. I've wanted a turbo, awd car for about 10 years, but now know how much it costs to "tune" cars and 300hp seems to be the sweet spot for "enough" power. What do you guys think? I'm in my late 30's, single with no kids, don't want to pay more than the mid-20s and want a reliable, sporty daily driver that gets decent mileage.
The camaro and mustang would be great, the chevy will probably be too expensive, but I could get the ford discount on the mustang. I really like the Z, but not very practical with two seats, but I do drive a nissan now, so maybe I could get a break on trade-in. As for the hyundai, If it does come in at around 25k for a decently option 6, it may be the perfect car for me...
