My new girl, Suzuki SV650
Of course I still have my Evo 8 but the gas prices were getting rediculous, so I got myself something to drive to and from work on. Its an 07' model, im the first owner, and yes she's naked- when I brought her home the odometer read 3 miles and ive gotten it up to 6 miles since getting my permit (those are all around the neighborhood miles). Its a new experience and I love it , and you really cant beat 50+ MPG! here she is

Thanks for the comments/ compliments guys. I love the bike more and more everyday. I am already scheduled for an MSF course on June 23rd. Its a long wait but its the soonest I could get. Im in the military and I am required to take an MSF course before I can ride on base, so for now im stuck riding around the block.
I paid 5500 for the bike brand-new, and my insurance actually went down when I added the bike to my current policy. Got to love the multiple vehicle discount.

thanks project!
silvrevo, I just noticed you have an fz6, I actually went to the dealer to buy an fz6 but when I saw the sv650 I had to have it. I felt alot more comfortable on it, and I liked the classic look with the single round headlight.

Really cool bike to drive around town and in the mountain roads.
The SV650 has a lot of torque and low end grunt.
Have fun with the bike... once you get hooked on motorbikes you will want to buy something more powerfull

oh, ive already discovered the low end torque. for the first few hours of riding i was too scared to give it gas coming from a stop. i just let the clutch out slowly and added some throttle later on once the clutch was fully engaged.
