For just straight up fun get a 300zx Twin Turbo or LS1 swap z32, also a 240sx, but dont do a SR20 swap just turbo the stock KA motor, my buddy did it, way fast. Another choice is to get a 2002 Camaro, my buddy bought one and the car has so much body roll its fun , and they do donut like no car can.

But of course there's always an EVO

PS

What does DSM mean?

20K could get you an STI. There's one for sale that's nicely modded over on nasioc in the midwest section for 20K.

For sheer fun, I'd go for one of these two: stock S2000 or a NB Miata with a supercharger.

I'm going to have to agree with a few on this and say DSM. You can have an awesome car for $10K. Another $10K on top of that and well hello awesomeness. You'll have your turbo, your awd and your sexiness. It's a win-win all the way.
