^^ yeah if that is the case...that turns me off right there from them... i am not trying to maintain it like that.. im tryin to ride it put gas in it and park it

I check the oil in my Evo pretty much every fill up just to be safe lol so I guess it did not seem too weird to me.
BMWs for instance tend to burn a lot of oil. My X5 burns a quart every 7-800 miles and has since it was new, as have several other people's whom I know. I know a few people with the current M5 and it burns oil like crazy. Every bike I have owned has been at least 10 years old when I got it, so they all burned a little oil too.
