Nice Nice. Maybe wen I turn middle age 20s i can afford it and it wont be that much anymore. Are they really $320,000 ?? Anyone know the price or is that it.

There are few cars on the road that produce jet like thrust from so low in the RPM band as the Biturbo 12cyl Benz. It does'nt corner particularly well, But between going and stopping it is pretty amazing.
It makes enough power to trounce a Ferrari 550....

This thing is absolutely sick! It looks far more aggressive than the SLR, with even greater presence. $320,000 is expensive, but I'd rather have this than the similarly priced Ferrari 599.

The power:weight is comparable and most aspects of handling and braking are similar. The SLR certainly isn't a lot faster, if at all, and the performance doesn't justify the $200k price delta.

No, the SLR is a low volume one off car built by an aftermarket company. The SL65 AMG Black is a low volume car built by MB using an existing platform and shared parts to keep costs down. Price and performance rarely have anything in common.

AMG started life as an engine company; //M started as a racing company. They have different goals, though //M has deviated from their origins and become more like AMG ("put in a bigger engine, bigger brakes, beef up the suspension, put a giant radiator in and some tacky ductwork, and call it a day").
