Get her a Mazda 3 Wagon Those are awesome. My best friend's GF has one and I could not believe how nice that thing was. The interior was great and it handled really well.

Replying order of appearance.
Hell no to a miata lol. Not anywhere close to being a 4-door I also forgot to mention this will be the family car. We'd take this car on road trips and stuff while the evo rests in the garage.
I've been looking on craigslist daily and most Fits are actually over msrp, but our local dealer sales them for msrp but that is also why they are sold out.
jetta/rabbit we might go take a look at some vw's but I guess I'm just scared of german reliability.
RS4 yeah I think this is the one we'll get.
Accord, 09 corolla, camry, ZR1: Might look into those besides the ZR1
We're not getting another mitsu unless it's an evo. It the only mitsubishi to get seriously.
prchico19: thanks for letting me know. Makes me feel a bit better about Audi's I suppose. We might swing by Bellevue on the weekend can you hook it up .
03v8slayer: sick sick sick Fit. Best color.
And no to the g35 they get pretty dookey gas mileage.
and Nissan Versa, Scion tc, xd, xa, Toyota Yaris all suck. We looked at all of these when we looked at the Fit and it's easy to see why Fits are all sold out while these chill on the lot.

A3 ftl. Only the new 2.0T w/ Quattro are worth while, and they're over your price range. Otherwise the FWD 2.0T sucks and the 3.2 is no fun either. Of what you listed though, I'd get the TSX first, and the A3 second. My ex had a TSX and I loved that thing. I hate the look of the Fits, so I'd never get one of those, but to each his own (Like I always say, I love the new STi though )

You should be able to get a Mazdaspeed3 for around $22.5 + TT&L...
If I was limited to your budget that's what I'd get. It's a hatch so it's useful like the fit. It's a stick shift so it's more fun. Has a great amount of power. Sounds good stock.
I would NOT buy a used one though since they are sure to be ragged the hell out.
You could look for a clean Mazdaspeed6 as well. AWD, turbo, leather, fast-key (so no key to get in or start the car, which for women is a safety feature), great room inside and out. Decent styling.
You should be able to get a nice 05 or 06 MS6 for around $20-22k.
