I could almost swear the ZR1 was using the already good flowing full dual 3" exhaust from the Z06. The video says "new" exhaust different from the Z06...uhmmm As far is the acceleration, it clearly shows you how hard is to put all that power to the ground...

I need to see this thing put down a time on TG's test track. Clarkson will ***** about the interior, but I wonder how he'll feel about the rest of it.

I wish it would've been on this season of Top Gear. It was SO short this year.

I seen Jeremy already critizing the C6 and the Z06 and he mentioned the plastic bumpers and plastic interiors as being "rubish". Honestly I don't think the ZR1 has changed much from the regular C6 or Z06. It isn't as refined as Porsche per said however it comes fully loaded if you compare it with a Lotus, a Noble or cars of that nature..

Has anyone seen the problem of heat soak addressed by GM. I'm wondering how this superchared engine will perform during long track outings. I know it did great for 7 minutes and something on the Ring, but will longer outings without the chance for a cool down affect the performance? It will be interesting to see how these cars do for track days.

Have you seen the blower on this thing yet? The intercooler wraps around it,, isnt that pretty trick in itself? And isnt this a special blower for the zr1?

+1

I'm sick of hearing Clarkson complain about his hemorrhoids in every car that doesn't cost over £50K. I do value Top Gear's overall assessment of a car though, because they do a good job, for the most part.
