My Other Wheel's ( 6 of 'em )
12/22 Snow update + mystery dyno
The little ugly red car is a Mazda 323 GTX, It's an '88. 1.8L Turrbo with AWD. Bunch of little mods, Not Evo fast but it makes all the right noises and should be fun in the winter. It's half a DD.
The other half of the DD puzzle is an 05 Ducati 999s, Makes better noises than any of my 4 wheel toy's and is well, a little quicker... Lot's of showy CF and a Termi half system.
PICS!!!

With Alex ( Bimmubishi's ) Honda sickness and Nick's big Kawi at DSG.

GTX Motor ( Little but big FMIC, piping, 2.5 custom Exhaust W/ HFC, Magnaflow, Rebuilt clipped turbo @ 15PSI, chipped ECU ). Pic's from the Ebay add I bought it from ( Score!!! ), If anybody want's I can take a better one.

How'd that get in there???

Snow update: The car is a blast. Skinny tires + AWD = Fast. Not as sideways happy as an Evo but still a ton of fun.

And a little game:
Guess which of the two vehicles made this dyno run:

Beautiful collection of toys you got there
. I always loved those little GTXs.
It's a kinda shame 999s never really caught on with the ducatisti. Great design and great performing motorcycle imo. I almost bought the Xerox replica 999R a few years ago.

Thanks alot Dude! I was one of the people who were apalled when the XX9 series came out. I mean, how could they take the best bike ever and follow it with that??? Then I came around to the styling slowly. I like that when the 1098 came out people started dumping their 999's to upgrade, I took full advantage of that, The sticker on my bike was over 20K, I bought it with 3K miles for so much less than that it should have been illegal. The performance is unreal with any big Duc and I can't use it all anyways.

Well, The dyno sheet actually came from the car ! Does'nt look like much but I am pretty happy. Here's a copy/paste from another thread with some explination. For some reference I think a stock evo makes about 210ish on this dyno.
First off the car is an 88, just trying to find people that are willing to support a 323 GTX can be a pain, very limited numbers were brought to the U.S. and very few still are running around on the roads. Luckily, Bill at DSG has experience with them from working on a GTX rally car. It's extremely valuable to have a shop that has worked on COMPETITION cars.
When the car was first put on the dyno we were expecting around 130 HP. First pull AFR's are in the 14 range and the car makes 100 HP...A little sad even for the little motor in the Mazda and way too dangerous to beat the car the way I do, especially in the snow (Lots of full throttle).
Bill and Matt tracked the issue to an intermitent fuel pump, ran good until boost came on. Fuel pressure was dropping like a stone as soon as boost came on. I'm so glad I decided to do a AFR/power check, There's a good chance at the AFR the car was running at it would not have made it through the winter.
Anyway, replace the fuel pump/filter, throw the car back on the dyno and it makes 140 HP and is now running a safe AFR.
So, Thanks to the help of DSG my car picked up 40 HP and is running 100 times more safe then it was before I got there. Al also found a fitting that was not properly sealed in the charge piping, it was making for a nasty boost leak, He welded it up in no time and as a result the turbo feels like it has the response it should.
