I like it. Right now its a close 2nd pick behind the new wrx as my next vehicle. I had high hopes for the RA and camaro, but I'm not too sure about them now. I'm just waiting to see what the reviews and price of the V6 is gonna look like. If it looks good, then I will have to decide whats more important: style, comfort and a very "modern" car in the gencoupe or all-weather performance, safety, and convenience of the rex...

Well this was posted several months ago,, but I hate it when people say search,, soooooooooo.
I think Hyundai is in the right direction for sure. The Sedan has a 4.6 v-8 with 375hp. They recently said it can be bored out upto 6 liters. And then they will add DI.
The 4 banger was pre-tested at 29psi, with stock internals by the Hyundai team. And it holds nicely they said. This they say was a must for the "tooner" community. So maybe they will be very "toon" friendly?
Also comes with a stock lsd, rwd of course.
The sedan also has ac front seats, and a stereo only found in a Rolls. Plus several other cool tibits. Looks wise,, it mirrors an S class. I would for sure de-badge the entire car.
Congrats Jrod, nice to see you guys also find this little car. Cant wait to see what you all do with it!!!

Here is some update engineering specs/features from Hyundai
The car actually lost about 140 pounds from the last press release. The v6 was 3550 but now its 3402. The I4 used to be 3450 now its 3303. There were so many people bickering about the hefty weight. I guess Hyundai listened.

Here is a comparison in size between a tib and the gen coupe
You might need firefox to view it.

V6 300hp 0-60 is like 5.8 seconds.
however, the turbo 4cyl 223hp is a pathetic 8 seconds. Which has pretty much destroyed any urge to buy one of these. If they are that heavy, that a 223 horsepower engine can't get them to 60 in less than 7 seconds, than i definitely don't want one.
