how about just get a corvette then, if you want it just for an LS1 engine in it.

Sorry guys but the rotary engine is a work in progress. Even with the Renessis motor in the RX8, the best Rotary motor yet...still is a work in progress. I know what you guys mean about sticking a domestic motor into an import, kind of like a two-face kind of thing. But I came to love and respect the LS series motors. IMO, I don't think you can find better performing NA V8s out there.

Why not just an f-body too? Simple, I don't want one...don't really like them that much.

sorry but the corvette and f-body just dont even come close. like i said before in this thread i have had the chance to drive them and they just arent the same. the FD handles much better and the power to weight ratio of the ls1 fd makes it much quicker than the f body or vette

jealous. was looking at a black 3rd gen a while back, beautiful car and a blast to drive. great looking car, good luck with the sale and finding an evo! welcome to the 4 door turbo world...

These swaps are so dumb imo.its like the easy way out to having a fast car.not hating since im wiring up a Nova ss prostreet car with Twin Turbo(GT35R turbos) LS1.it should be a fun cruiser.
