What happens when you deal with the rich that don't give to craps about you or your car, at first glance of the first ten pages it seems as though he wanted to get 50 posts to buy stuff for his car, now it is a little bit clear as to why he wanted to sell things from his broken *** Evo, i hate how people always say oh I love the set up or your collection is amazing, I always wanted it,
If you want it go get it, it's not as hard as it seems but to be a CEO of 3 companies, no I doubt that very seriously, monopolizing personal profit is what its called, he would be asked to step down to vp of at least two of them seeing how there are 2 sister companies and a parent one, can't be in charge of all 3,
If I hadn't looked a few things up and btw google will show you alot if you know how to use it and the internet,
No I'm not a hater but I do believe you should learn to drive before you open up on any of them or else there just gonna get screwed but hey metal is metal and you can always replace that but not blood or flesh,
Btw most people given a 8-10 year period with these cara go broke from mismanagement of money and countless other things such as this guys engine if he can prove it was him then everything is gone in a heart beat and some else lives the life, how it is and always will be
End of rant

Hi, i thought that i would post the the issues with this seller on here as any attempt to resolve the issue has failed with the user ignoring my attempts to contact the user.
Well it all started with a thread title Claiming the Best of the best of everything!
I checked the user ratings and had about $20K to spend on a motor.
Everything seemed good, seller was happy to answer all my Qs and ship the motor internationally all was aggreed and i put a deposit down, i had some problems here wich i let the user know about and it would delay the payments slightly at the end of the day money is money even if its late after all there was a deposit.
after the payments cleared paypal i then reveived confirmation the payments went through, all seemed fine to this point my supra was getting ready to be taken appart and timing should be good with the arrival of the motor.
Specs i was sent are:
VWR 4 Shortblock
3.4 stroker
CP Pistons
Carillo H-Beam Rods
Carr Rod Bolts
Crower Balanced Billet Crank
ACL Main Bearings
ACL Rod Bearings
Titan Billet Main Caps
Line honed block
VWR Stage 5 race head
Fully polished and ported
Competition Copper Alloy valve seats
Five angle valve job
Ferrea dual valve springs
Ferrea titanium valves +3mm
Ferrea titanium retainers
Ferrea valve keepers
Ferrea spring seats
Ferrea spring locaters
Ferrea valve guides
ARP Head studs
HKS 280 Cams
Also in the package:
UR cam gears and pulleys <------still waiting for to this day.
Ok date would be about Fri, Sep 3, 2010 when the payment was sent.
After a few weeks this is when things got suspicious, Todd would not answer my questions in full, i asked for pictures of the block in current state and that went on ignored, i then started asking for shipping updates and they started to drag out as i received no tracking number till Thu 11/11/10, basically 2 months to pack and ship the engine to me.
After i finally received the tracking number instead of excuses the transit time period was its usual few months, no problem with that.
I received a phone call from the shipping company saying my item has arrived, i was really happy that it was finally here and thinking my ordeal with the seller was over and i can continue with my build and get it ready for racing in privateer Time trial events in 2011.
The package landed around the 3/2/2011 did all the paperwork and payed for the transport to the supras location.
When i 1st gazed eyes upon the package i noticed that it was packed in cardboard a box about pallet size, i always thought that you would send an engine in a crate as its safer to ship.
I opened the box and took a photo of the way the engine was packaged because its a habit i have now from receiving many items for my supra, in the photo i did not touch the packaging in anyway i just lifted the lid and snapped a pic.
the packaging was so bad that i was worried something might have happened during transit, all there was is clear wrapping with the top of the head exposed showing the cams, and was strapped down onto a pallet sitting on a block of wood to hold it level.
I then lifted the motor with a hoist and noticed the sump was damaged and was the reason to so much oil over the pallet and box.
(nice way to package a 20K USD 3.4L long block).
Picture of how i received it, No joke, i did not touch anything.

upon 1st inspection i noticed boxes stuffed in with the motor, i checked these for the UR cam gears and pulleys and nothing, the boxes were used to take up space in the opened areas so it didnt move around much same as stuffing news paper in a small box to stop the item moving.
I then went to have a look at the motor, i have not separated the head from the block yet even to this day, but i looked and found damaged in the head where it appears the cam lobe was to large and smashed the side of the block and put a crack in it where the Shim sits, then i flipped the motor around and found that the head has been welded up with really bad welds.
(so much for the best of the best ey)
Best of the best motor, Huh? they dont look like UR gears to me, and exhaust Cyl #2 wtf
http://i989.photobucket.com/albums/a...0motor/004.jpg
exhaust Cyl # 2 again....WTF
http://i989.photobucket.com/albums/a...0motor/011.jpg
Cam Lobe VS head? And again who builds best of the best without shimless buckets?
http://i989.photobucket.com/albums/a...0motor/023.jpg
And last but not least, who sends a motor half way around the world without checking it propperly before hand?
"Hmmm hope this 34jzgte guy doesnt check this 20K USD motor.............."
http://i989.photobucket.com/albums/a...0motor/025.jpg
http://i989.photobucket.com/albums/a...0motor/024.jpg
Now this is my dilemma i have a head i cant use because of the extent of the damge the shim will wear out that part of the head if i was to use it and being a race car i stand no chance,
I sent todd photos and he said that i should send it back and he will send me a new CNC head.
It seems the motor issue can be resolved, but not before i get the other items i have payed for.
Now since then i have said i want my cam gears and pulleys before i send anything back and have not received any confirmation of shipping or tracking number just more empty emails and Todd seems to be ignoring them now this is why i have created this thread as i warned him about it and i will let others know of his dealings.
This thread will be updated with photos as things progress.
I have also had contact from a few other people who have delt with Todd.
There will also be a Dot.com website regarding insanespeed.net should this escalate any further.
You chose the wrong person to F(&^K around and aslong as my supra is being delayed i will make it my effort to ruin the online reputation of VEGASSE.
Updates and pics to come, stay tuned.
