Have you guys seen any of the vids on the new Genesis Coupe with the 4b11t. It is not as powerful as the stock RA. Only around 210-220hp. In this vid they put on a GT30R turbo. Looks impressive at about 360 Whp and 300 or so ft/lbs. While RWD only, I think these are going to be about low 20k when they come out with a 6 speed manual. I am going to wait and check it out. Sounds like a winning combo. I have seen some places say that this motor can take 28-29 PSI.

I just ran across this so may not be the same.

-Engine is not the 4b11t as previously stated. Its a 2.0L theta II reworked from the 2.4. The 4b11t and all world engines are based off the theta II platform though. So looks like it may just share the block and not the internals.

Dang another reason to mod the evo more, can't get smoked by a Hyundai.

Everytime I see pictures or vids of them with some wheels they don't look to bad at all.

 

I don't think you need to worry about that just yet, but it does look like a good platform to build on. BUSCHUR is going to tear into one and see what they can do.

 

They flipped the motor I believe and made it a RWD car on the genesis. Just saw the HKS one in Super Street. Mean looking little car.

 

That's not a GT30. It might be the wheels of one, but that's the stock turbo compressor housing in the pics that I found of that car. FYI
