240SX KA w/ compression ratio of 8:1???
So I've got another 240sx question, but this one is kind of a basic engine performance question. If a 240sx has a stock compression ratio of about 9.5:1 and you completely change the internals to run a turbo (but don't have a turbo), which results in a compression of 8:1 and you run the car on a stock ECU with no flash how will this affect the performance. Im thinking bad because the ECU wont be set up for that compression.
My buddy picked up this built KA-T motor and wants run it NA without making any changes, and he thinks its going to make 200WHP

I got my answer:
"the HP will be lower than stock... Less compression...
It may be a bit of a dog too...
Guessing HP numbers is worthless... it is like dyno numbers.. it is just a number...
Bottom line, the engine will not have the same output as a stock, 9.5:1 engine"
