Just got in our first wrinkle black set of pipes for the Coupe.

i just noticed the stock appearing turbo upgrade, that is pretty sick. Looks like there is room for improvement as well, seems like maybe a quarter inch on each side on the compressor side so there is space for a larger one; the turbine looks to have plenty of room too. I wonder if td06-h wheels would fit?

The room is pretty limited. We have a few different combinations to try. This is just the first one. I believe Mike told me that the TD06-H wheels would not fit in the housing. We're curious to see what the stock frame turbo is capable of.

We'll get there. It just takes time.

That's what I wanted to hear. What do you expect the car to do with bolt-ons/tuned?

I think i'm going to go test drive it tomorrow. Saw it on the street today looked nice and sleek.

I'm hoping for 300 whp, Full bolt ons. Make it happen and I will buy one.

Are there any plans to see if the tranny bolts to any of the Evo X blocks?

It seems as thought there has been a decent amount of discussion on some of the GC boards if the Evo X turbo will bolt right on to the Coupe. I took a minute to answer the question for everyone so the difference can be seen and not just talked about. These pics will put the topic to rest.

The Coupe factory turbo is on the left. I did not have a complete Evo X turbo here to use but I did find a Evo X turbine housing. It is pictured on the right.

The answer is clearly no the Evo X turbo will not just bolt on to the Coupe. As you can see the turbine housing & downpipe flange are totally different.

I had a visitor here at the shop last week who drove his Coupe up from Alabama to check the shop out and plus he is originally from a town in Ohio not all too far from the shop. I walked outside to take a look at his car and thought it would be a good opportunity to show the exhaust tip comparrison from stock to our Stealth option. Many people think we used stock tips but you can see there is a difference.

The Coupe on the left is stock. The Coupe on the right has our 3" catback with stealth tips.
