As always: good job BR for bringing the goods
The car is definitely under powered for its size & weight.

*PRODUCT RELEASE* Buschur Racing 2.0t Genesis Coupe Forged Internals

Immediately after receiving our 2.0t Genesis Coupe we started addressing issues that we knew would come up. Going through the initial R&D process and putting our parts lineup on the car showed us the first weakness which was the BOV.

The second item that we knew would need addressed if we wanted to make some big power would be the internals. We ordered a stock piston and rod for the Coupe from the dealership and as soon we could hold them in our hands we knew they would probably not hold up to a lot of horsepower being thrown at them.

We sat down with our friends at Manley Performance and came up with some engine internals that are made to our specifications. We are now proud to release our engine internal offerings for the 2.0t Hyundai Genesis Coupe.

We have used Manley products in many race engines that we've built making well over 600+whp on our Mustang AWD dyno. Its safe to say that these pistons and rods will handle just about whatever you throw at them.

Buschur Racing Spec Forged Piston Set

Compression Ratio: Stock (9.3:1)

Complete set of 4 pistons, rings, pins and clips.

Available in: Standard Bore or .20 over bore.

Because these engines are so new, you would be able to use the standard bore as a direct drop in forged piston upgrade.

These pistons also feature a special coating around the skirt of the piston. This is a procedure that is done to help prevent excess engine wear by helping control heat and help with the oiling.

PRICE: $680

AVAILABLE ON BUSCHUR RACING.COM *CLICK HERE*

Buschur Racing Spec Turbo Tuff Connecting Rod Set

The turbo tuff connecting rods are forged from aircraft quality 4340 vacuum degassed material. Each rod is fully machined in the Manley Lakewood, NJ factory to the highest standards.

The Manley signature "Turbo Tuff" design combines the appropriate weight and rugged strength for ultimate horsepower applications. With a twist from Buschur Racing you have one bad *** set of rods!

Complete set of 4 connecting rods.

PRICE: $739

Thank you for looking and also for your continued support of Buschur Racing as we progress forward with the Genesis Coupe and the rest of our work.

Take care

I've done a "little" searching and can't find a good release date for the haltech standalone. These cars are fantastic except for the factory tunes. Absolutely is the biggest problem these cars have. Everything else is great about them...well, to me anyways.

They're coming.

We had to get some injectors for the car.

No we do not.

Someone else brought up the Haltech.

We're using something else. A post will be made with the information once we get back rolling.

Ah, good deal then...I was lucky enough to get an "extended" test drive for a 2.0T 6 speed when I bought my wifes accent. I really would LOVE to have one of these cars for a daily if the car didn't feel like it was pulling timing with every gear change.

Why would that detour you from buying it? Its a easy problem that will be resolved. I personally dont think its a problem as Ive driven mine for 4300 miles without issue.

Lol...that's not the reason I'm not buying one yet. The reason I don't have one already is because I just dropped a lot of money with you guys and awd...the timing yank really isn't bad enough to keep me from getting one, but I figure I'll wait until next years model and might hop on the band wagon then....and probably spend some more money with you guys too.
