it may be more appreciate if you post this in the clubwrx or nasioc forums. When I visit the Evo dyno forums, I expect to see Evo dyno not STi.

^^ I already have a thread going on NASIOC, but I sometimes see Evo guys post their results in our forum too. Since they are usually pretty well received, I figured I'd try it the other way around.

updated first post with the actual chart I was emailed. looks like the original numbers i posted were a little off. the #s of the final pull (w/o the wideband in the muffler) were actually a tad higher.

That's solid for an 06 with just an intake, tbe, and bc on that dyno.

20.5 psi tapers to 15 psi at redline?
get a hallman mbc and it will hold steady boost to redline, no taper

Why not, can you provide more details?

My evo used to peak at 19 and taper to 16 (stock). Once i installed the hallman, it's been perfectly steady with no taper. There are 2 ways that I know you can install the mbc. If you hook it up to the wastegate and BOV line and eliminate the factory "boost controller", it will not taper. There is a how-to install Hallman Boost Controller.
This applies to EVOs but i'm not sure how it works for subarus.
Just trying to help out.
Good numbers on the dyno though.

^^ Boost controllers aren't very popular in the suby world. The factory ECU is a pretty advanced boost controller as it is, and I upgraded the OEM boost control solenoid with the Grimmspeed BCS. That thing did wonders for my car.. I'm seeing 18+psi in first gear! As far as the taper goes.. holding 16psi at redline is pretty impressive for these cars. Cobb's OTS stage 2 (TBE only) map tapers to ~12 psi.

It has nothing to do with the Boost controller. You could run that 43 un-restricted (unplugged comp side) you wouldn't get 20 at redline. The restraint is in the turbo and WG itself.

Yes or get a bigger turbo...preferably rotated.

Since no one will say it i will. CBRD for Evos and Hill (agile) for Subarus.

Easy.....35Rs are a dime a dozen on stock STi motors. The only real weak part is the ringlands. They like to quit at about 450ish.

What is it a 30-76? You could do 25psi (i know psi is relative, speaking figuratively) and crap timing assuming you have 91 up there, and still make very good power. Like high 300s low 400s on pump without stressing the block. I would suggest meth with a that 30r though. Scoobs love it....and hate det. You can't have any counts of det/knock period. Use the wood alchy for more of a det resistant.

To the OP, very nice numbers BTW. Dynapacks are a little inflated, not as much as everyone makes them out to be. I did 350hp and 311tq on hills dyno, and 336 and 306 on a heartbreaker with no mod changes back int he day. lol

I am one of the few that think numbers mean NOTHING. Trap speed does....end of story.

I sorta road tune them haha

I'm actually a Subaru guy; however, I have an account for researching on an Ebo or for tuning references.

I saw the STi and it caught my attention. lol
