Giro Disc 14in. 2 piece rotors on the snake

Just got these bad boys from Martin at Giro Disc. Gotta love the bling. Matter of fact loved them so much. I have a set coming for my EVOX..

They look great on your car. Did you weight the old ones vs these new ones?

Carlos,
I had 2 piece rotors on my car before. I got the Giro Discs, because they were more bling. As far as weight goes. They both weighed in a 17lbs a piece..

The stock 1 piece Viper rotors on the otherhand weigh 25lbs. So for someone doing the swap to 2 piece rotors. Thats taking off a total of 32lbs ,of rotating mass altogether..

Thanks,
WM

Very nice! Is it me or is the body not lined up correctly near your headlight on the passenger side? Apologies if this was covered previously.

*edit - btw, gorgeous car!

WOW! that is a huge weight savings. I would definately plan on putting a two piece rotors as a replacement whenever my Vette needs a set. I honestly think this is one of the best money spent when upgrading brakes, it benefits in all aspects.

always had a soft spot for vipers. never a big vette guy. i would go cobra for cheap, but everytime i see a viper i know that i have to have one. beautiful car, love the lines and body style, wheels are sweet as well. nicely done sir, hope you enjoy her. how is it going from a viper with that much power to a lightly modded evo X? kinda diff i would guess.

either way, nice brakes!
