wish they brought the scirocco back here...this new one looks very appealing....too bad vw's have been as reliable as cheese for the past 15 years or so...

 

I love the car. Great design in and out. I would be all over an R20 in a year or two. My plans for the Evo will take it out of a normal DD sometime in that time frame and with the R20 getting 29mpg and looking like it does, I would buy one. Personally, I think the GTI golf is a, for lack of a better word, dorky car. Its too up right and, as others have commented, too much of a porker. Even if it weren't heavy, it looks heavy. I have never desired a VW as much as the Scirocco, VW bring it here!
