R the RX7 prices going up?
#31
i had an fd for 5 years and had all kinds of problems with it. (and i had all the accepted "reliability" mods of the time) that being said, the only way i'd own another is if i did an LSx swap. beautiful cars, great brakes, excellent handling...during the 2 months of the year the car ran correctly. a 2jz swap would be cool, but the lsx swap is significantly easier and less complicated due all the aftermarket support for it. last time i checked FD prices weren't too crazy, but it's like anything else in that you just need to be patient. 94/95s (especially the R2s) are going to command a premium as are the few remaining competition yellow mica R1's

Sounds like rotor's aren't big in the USA drag scene like they are here in Australia. They are everywhere here and all extremely fast.
Its crazy watching them wheel stand down the 1/4 mile.

Agree. I know in Japan, 3 rotors or even 4 rotors are on the street but car still needs to be little more reliable here in US.
Plus getting 1000hp out of 1.3L is more expensive than using other pistons motors....
