The material looks like my oem nose bra for my old evo 8! I would bet it is exactly the same material. I still have the bra somewhere I believe I had it on the car 2 or 3 times.

What if you were to take off the vinyl after some time? Would the paint on the roof be ruined?

If your car has original paint, then peel off as you please. If it's been repainted before, and done poorly, then there is solution designed/made specifically for removing vinyl off of the car.

Remember, this is professional grade material. It's designed to not ruin the surface/object that is applied onto.

Here are the pictures of the 1 series I did. As you can tell from the pictures, I also did his mirrors and tinted his tail lights for him using some film. I may be doing an E60 this friday with the cf material as well, if any local members want to drop by and check it out.

That is exactly the oem carbon weave nose mask fabric. I found my old evo 8 bra and from your pics it looks to be the same material! Not knocking you I think it looks very good...

Yeah. For an Evo with a real carbon wing... Doesn't make sense to me. I'll try and not make snobbish comments. I'll end it with: Not for my car thank you, I'll save for the real deal if I want carbon on my lid.

Exactly. It's definitely not for everybody. I mean, I wouldn't even use this material for my own cars, but that's because I am not a fan of CF at all. However, I definitely know my vinyl, and this is the best cf look vinyl to date.

Looks the same, but definitely will not be the same material. I am sure you can't just cut your bra apart and apply it to the contours and have it stick like that to the roof

Who knows, maybe, but very unlikely.
