The last time 'murdered' car looked good was in Knight Rider
The last time black rims (or glossy black with chrome) looked good was on 96' Diablo SV
The idea of 'pulling off stealth look' is lame, including the matte grey finish on a $200,000+ tuner car is so retarded, they pay like 10k for paint, just to have the same effect as a CRX where owner reluctantly had that finish because he couldn't afford a better paint
MTV, hip-hop and bling culture ruined black color on automobiles :-(
I think your car looks good but it could have looked better with other color combinations, ie:
White paint / red interior / bronze rims
Black paint / black+yellow interior / gold rims
Red paint / black+red interior (probably just red on stitching) / gunmetal rims
and so on

Here is the roll
Here is what he started with.
And finished results!
And here are some cheap *** vinyl (which mind you, in order to clean, all you need to do is spray a hose on it to clean off the dirt! And if anyone scratches it, you can just peel it off and do another section, without the price of a supposedly $10k paint job! ) on some of those really pricey sports cars!
Pretty sick if you ask me! To me, the whole black rim with red lip is played out WAY too much, especially on Evo's. And I do things differently, as I like my car to stand out. Yes I rock a carbon fiber hood, although its on a GSX so it does make a difference in weight. So a black GSX with a carbon fiber hood and dark blue 17" Enkei RPF1's, I like standing out. And as stealthy as a murdered car is, it stands out for its uniform like status. Not like every other Black car with Gold/bronze wheels, or black wheels and a red lip, or white wheels. **** is played out.
To the OP, sick looking Z dude! Props! Just for ****s and giggles, you should try to venture away from Rota's and try something crazy. Trust me. Go with a wacky color rim to set it off. I did a blue RPF1 on my black GSX, and man it looks SICK! I get compliments left and right because its "different". On a Z, green would look pretty bad ***!!!

OMG Yes!!! Great example! I hate paint jobs like that on an F430, it is literally sick, as in it makes me puke!! IMO it looks good on GSX, CRX or any car people may perceive as lower end model and a 'beater' then gets surprised from their velocity, in this case 'sleeper' and 'stealth' fits well.
As for the vinyl/paint on Ferrari's, Bentley's and so on, it is so obvious the owner is trying really hard to make it look 'customized' and for attention whoring.

Why? Why? Why? Why? Why?
I mean do people really think a very loud, very wide, very low vehicle painted all black and/or matte black/grey finish is really stealth? The behavior is screaming 'hey I want some attention!!'
As for cost, it really depends what you use and how you do it, but the high-end tuners tend to use some fancy stuff with fancy application and charge multiples in amount.

Loud and sculptured car but it is obvious that it is not a result from the current fad:
