I have a 95 talon right now. I think they are awesome cars. The 1st gens can run low times with minimal mods.

Like others have said, check out,

Not hardly, they were significantly lighter, stiffer chassis, used the LANCER platform NOT the Galant, they also had 276hp, etc etc.

I owned a '95 GSX before I bought my current '94 Talon.... Heh, if you really get into them, you'll own a 1st gen before long.... Like my sig used to say....

My 2nd DSM is a 1st gen

What are you asking? You cannot swap a 4G63 into a 95-99 N/T Talon/Eclipse.

well the 1g turbo's have many problems. the engine's don't last. if you rebuild the motor and take care of it it will last. 2g's are a little better but still have many issues. mostly because everyone that ownes one most likely boosted it up and beat the **** out of it.

but yeah...they do make some sweet body kits for the 1g's.
If you don't know what you are talking about please don't post.

yeah sorry idecided already second gen eclipse 98
lol and yeah i really need to work on spelling. But I just realized its better to go trubo on a non turbo car than do an engine swap. Though when the engin gives away then i might consider a new engine. Thanks you guys for all yuor post. I just gace rre a call they explained everything. So who ever can close the thread. Thanks again guys.
