b, have u driven a GTi VR6 GLX at all? The stock sports suspension that comes with the GLX is amazing.

Doing 3 lane highway dips like cutting swiss cheese! No body roll what so ever, no leaning, hugs the ground like no other.

Aight, guys, try to keep it on-topic here....

Anyhow, I like the idea of getting an IS and turbo it. One of the best tuners is in DFW area in TX. sounds interesting

I usually talk in chassis and engine codes. I try not doing it when I'm talking to normal people

When I say" I'm gonna pull the ka24 outta my s13 and put a sr20det in it and put a jdm s13 front end on it". I lose most people

Wow, i just realized how off we got...lol...

Anyone like the way the Protege5 looks? I think that car looks awesome for a 4 door hatchback....aka "station wagon"

But seriously think it looks nice but it is slow.

I want a p5 but it's way too slow for me. I've driven a gti with the sports suspension, drive a wrx or 2.5rs...you'll be like damn that gti drove like a dumptruck

I'm not, I owned a mk4 jetta for a year and it sucked, it handles exactly like a GTI (since they are the same damn car) I owned one and test drove a bunch, so I know how crappy (stock) they handle compared to my car

not trying to start a flame war. But you have your opinion, and I have to disagree, it's not awd but the GTI as well as the A3 Jetta are both very good handling vehicles. NYC is dead on about hte lack of body roll on these things, they can maneuver better than the lancer. I've been torched by several vr6's and 1.8t's who not only accelerated better, but handled better too. POS is not the VDub.

I love vw's Just not a fan of the A4 platform. I'm more of an A2, Scirrocco, corrado guy. The A4 has way too much body roll, but not when compared to a lancer. The suspension blows on the A4s. Drive a 2.5rs, spec v, or svt focus, and you'll be like damn this vw handles like a dumptruck. Remember I'm talking stock suspensions too

That's so hard to define, since it's neither... Either way, it should be big...but I miss the turbo on the RX-7

Whats the Final Spec listing?

I heard 250hp. They just upposed the size of the Rotoary engine right?

I remember when old RX's were:

Acceleration (0-60 mph): 4.9 sec.
Base Number of Cylinders: 2
Base Engine Size: 1.3 liters
Base Engine Type: Rotary
Horsepower: 255hp @ 6500 rpm
Torque: 217ft-lbs. @ 5000 rpm
Drive Type: RWD
Turning Circle: 35.4 ft.

BRING BACK THE ROTARY!
