Well, what's YOUR choice???

IS300? G35? 330CI? A4? you name it....

I will go with the IS300, can't really go wrong with the I-6, RWD w/ LSD combo...the only thing missing is the horses....

How about the new IS 430? It's coming out not sure of the price though.

The IS300 has so many parts for it, It's my choice, I tried getting a yellow one last year, Couldn't afford the $34k

2002 GTi VR6

More parts then you can imagine for this car.

the 2002 is now

200hp
183lbs of torque.

Super charger available, up to stage 5 turbo kits, and so so so much more.

Final price fully loaded (pretty luxarious) comes to 25k

Saw that IS430, but wouldn't it be more fun to turbo that I-6??? I have seen people getting the 5spd, with LSD (a must have) and other goodies except the navigator thingy for a $32K....maybe in TX only I guess

By GTi I assumed you mean the Jetta??? Everything sounds right except its a FWD...If I'm not getting an AWD, I'm getting a RWD

The I-6 is a better choice, it's lighter and the aftermarket is incredible for it. The IS300 is the car I've wanted since I first saw it, but it has always been slighty out of my price range. The IS300 is the best looking 4dr car you can buy (in the us).

No not JETTA. the VR6 Engine is the most well built. But the car (my brother has a 2001) has had some issues lately but they were all covered by warranty.

The GTi is the 2 door coupe. Jetta is a 4 door.

GTi is a meany lil machine and is very luxirous at the same time. I do believe you get a great bang for the buck.

High quality leather, racing bucket seats, insane sound system...

As long as you get a fully extended warranty your fine with the problems.

Another choice for me....

Another choice for me would be

the 2002 Audi A4 1.8T

With a simple chip you can push the BOOST higher adding insane amount of power...

Sexy Engine bay.

Regarding the A4 1.8T....I don't like the semi-auto that they have, response way too slow....and don't get anything before 2001, it has only 155hp (??) compare to 170hp in 2001.

BTW, my g/f has a 98 1.8T A4 quarttro with the semi-auto tranny. It's a very solid car, but can always use a little more power.

The GTI , Golf, Beetle, Jetta, and Audi TT are all on the MK4 platform all use the same engines and everything. And the funny thing about them is not one them handles good at all. The vr6 is a big heavy only bought because it costs the most, the 1.8T is the engine with potential, the 2.0L is a pos no matter what, even with a neuspeed s/c.

The real chassis code is the A4, but that confuses everyone. So most vw owners use mkl, mkll, mklll, mklV for the generations, you'll also see A1, A2, A3, A4 used for the chassis codes
The passat is on the B series platform along with the A4
