I was thinking of doing a 4G63 swap in to a rx7 FC. What RWD transmission can I run or should I make it AWD.

I was looking into this also when my RX engine went poop. You have a few options but they need and adapt. plate to mate them up to the 4G. One is a mighty max.I don't remember which engine.

So you mean the Mitsubishi Mighty Max D-50 with the 2.0L. I think they made them for 83 to 95.

wow... sounds like alot of work to make it 4wd. or you could do a 2jz swap and keep it rwd. i think the 2jz is superior engine anyway.

I have seen that done before to. I like the 2JZ motor to. But you don't all ways see a 4G63 AWD Fc. I was looking in to a viper v10 swap to. The cost would be more though. I had 8K in to the last LT-1 T-56 FC swap I did.

my brother and i were used to always talk about a 4g swap into a miata, while researched it we learned the fc trans mounts up directly to the mightymax block, then mount on the normal 6 bolt head to the block and call it a day, the hardest part is going to be mounting and wiring as with every engine swap
