sold the evo. lotus exige s delivered today
i have gone back and forth about selling my evo for at least a year now. even through swapping to a bbk turbo ect, it was always on my mind. id go test drive cars and walk away knowing that i was still happy with my evo. well i finally decided its time. 4.5 years is a long time for me to own a car, and i put it up for sale. the car sold in 6 days to another evom member
i spent the earlier half of the week test driving cars.. b8 s4, e92 m3, defender 90, the lsit goes on. i came across an ebay listing for a 2007 lotus exige s in white.. the perfect color. contacted the dealer directly and the day my evo sold, i sent him the money for the lotus. she arrived today and i couldnt be more happy. its amazing
the car is everything i wanted. even though its slower than the evo, and the stereo is god awful, the sum of the few parts is worth so much more as a whole. the car is unreal in every sense of the word. this will be my daily driver. thanks to beyonddc for the first pics of her from the meet tonight

such a beautiful car. This is the next car on my list. Many times I think of selling my evo for this. Congratulations!! I think this car is much nicer than an evo.

wow... thats a helluva DD... youre gona be getting looks.. good n bad...
either way.. if i got to walk out my house and hop in that lil beast as a DD.. my neighbors would probably think i banged like 10 hookers every morning.. because i would have the biggerst grin on my face... lol

I can completely relate to the DD status! I almost did the same.
I actually had a deposit on one, back in the summer of 2004 (I test drove it and the Elise at least five times) but then I my wife and I bought a town house 15 miles north of where I work (I used to be able to walk to work if it snowed) so it was a no go.
So I've had my '05 MR for 5 years now, and I still love it as a DD (even with 400+HP!)
Anyway enjoy it! (I'm super jealous!) And please, after you get some real everyday seat time, give us some direct comparisons to the Evo.
