Need unbiased opinions on new ride?

My father has an '08 S4 which seems to spend more time at the dealership than in his garage. It's always in there for small things that seem to malfunction but nothing major. Even with the small issues, I still have a soft spot for Audi's styling. Have you considered an RS6? That to me is the ultimate Audi I would love to own.
Someone else has already mentioned it but the E60 M5 with a meistercraft exhaust is just pure sex. I used to not be a fan of that body style 5-series but it has definitely grown on me and the fact that they are coming down in price is always a good thing for potential buyers. I've had a couple M3's in the past and I can honestly say that neither of them gave me any issues that weren't self inflected by me; warped rotors, excessive tire wear, etc.

Although the MB has great performance potential as well, that body style E-class does nothing for me. The new one is a different story but by the choices you have given us, I doubt that is in your price range.
Anyways, to answer your question. If I were in your shoes, I'd go for the M5. It has more interior space then the A5 and to me, looks better then the MB.

I'd say E55. My buddy has a Renntech Stage 5 E55...the car sounds sick and eats 99% of the cars on the road. He recently beat a newer viper (exhaust, header, etc) from a highway roll.

Why isnt an s5 in the equation? The a5 doesn't really compare to the m5 or the e55. So imo on styling alone i would choose an s5 but if your mod happy e55 then m5. Nothing beats an m5 with a meistercraft exhaust though. M5>s5>e55

i would say it depends what your driving styles are... i would say the audi if your the kinda guy who goes up to the mtns every season and loves doing it in style, the bm if you want class and sportyness at the same time, and the merc if you want absolute ludicrousness.

Is there a price range your looking to stay under?
Do you plan on modifying the car?
I love the way the A5s look however its a lot smaller and slower.
M5 is nice I would rather have a 6 series again two different cars
E55 is a killer car, Have you looked at a e63 or c63?
