Insane Methanol Ford Escort Cosworth Drag Car (Greece)

i had to post this!

One of the fastest street cars we had from 07 (ran 9.4@150 in full trim on racegas) went all out!

solid rear axle tubed rear
methanol motor
huge turbo
Liberty drag gearbox
etc
etc

just listen it change gears....

Greek Drag Escort

as of yesterday the car was making its first dyno pulls with less than 30psi pushing 1000+ whp on the dynojet!!!!

i will keep you posted!!!

apparently they covered all aspects... from proper ventilation for exhaust gases, to massive fans for fresh air from outside!

Apparently they dont want to share more info because of an upcoming race next weekend... Competition is HOT!!!

Hopefully we will se it run on the strip and check them numbers... Me personally i dont really care about dyno numbers... the magic slip tells the truth and only that!

No no no... my bad... ITs not a street car any more... Back in 2007 when he was racing in the street class on DOT Hoosiers and full interior he was running 9.4 @ 155 mph...

You know I'd venture to say this car is very stout even built back in 1992-1996 and is capable to run with the big dogs of today. This car was built by Cosworth for ford not by ford for cosworth.
