The chassis on this truck was "done" as a roller, the steering, a-arms etc., were all what I wanted to do/use and the price was right.

I'm going to use as much stuff as I can and fabricate a lot of it, like the header/intake/intercooler pipes, fuel cell, exhaust etc., etc. The stuff I like to do. The only reason I'm doing this, is I want to build those parts!

I'll give you the fuel cell I bought for Lana if you want it. It was never even removed from the box I never even took it out to look at it because its sealed in their with mega foam LOL... You've done plenty for me so this is one way I can return a small favor... Its 15 gallons with a 0-90 ohm sending unit. Shoot me a pm if you want it. I'll ship it tomorrow...

Don't ship it Brian, I appreciate it but I am building this from the ground up custom. The tank I have to decide where it's going first, then build it to fit the car. I'm using twin Walbro's in the tank, very similar to the EVO set up.

Thank you though!

Awesome Idea for a project! I had a 32 chrysler roadster that I planned a 1jz setup for.... but I ended up selling the car to someone who actually restored it instead

daveb, i'm coming to see your shop one day soon! Maybe I'll just wait for the shoot out though, I'm still saving for one of your shortblocks dave(the 2.0, decided not to build my own) btw.

awesome project dave, the pride you get from riding in something you built/fabbd with your own two hands must feel amazing!

I have the steering column in and mounted, it turned out pretty sweet. The steering ratio sucks but without power steering it can't be quick or it will steer to hard. I have two more bolts to install and it is 100% in the steering.

Transmission is finished, 3rd member is being built. I hope to have an engine/trans in the car before next weekend.

Looks like a very fun project. I think it would a blast to drive. You know it would be even better with some "old school" revolver cams. Bring on the lope!
