I have the utmost respect for Dave and the entire Buschur crew, but I'm anxious to see how big of a splash they can make in the mustang aftermarket. There's some nasssty competition out there

do they share any similarities with the older short block under the heads beside not having cam bearing holes ? Did it come with an lsd ?

Moot point for this thread yes......but facts are facts. The record for a bone stock Z06 on stock tires is 10.98 to be exact. Here is a link.

Anyways good luck with the 5.0, maybe ill get one in the future, they have lots of potential. Evolution motorsport just got a stock motor & Trans 5.0 in the 9's

Sry I couldnt help but to reply to this. A BONE STOCK C6 Z06 will not run 10.XX on a street tire I dont care what anyone says. Ive been to the track many times and a true BONE STOCK C6 Z06 runs mid to high 11's with 121-124mph trap speeds from what ive observed. If it runs 10.XX @ 128-130mph its definately not stock. It probly has weight reduction or/and some mods done that arent visable.

At most tracks with street tires, they are not that fast, but at the faster tracks with radials, they do really well. Also, the faster the 60', the higher the trap speed which is rather unique also.

Good luck with it, and I'm glad to see your expanding.. (not like you haven't played with them before) but I'll deff keep an eye out for it when I get towards area, and yes you'll be seeing me as soon as I get there lol,

Ford really stepped it up with this one. The only thing GM had over the mustang was the LS3 but this engine is IMO on par with it. Good choice Dave! Check out evo performance! Their 5.0 was one of those "first in the..." cars. I think they did high 11's with tires and exhaust and maybe some tuning. Gotta love the live axle =)
