Buschur Racing's new 5 liter Mustang

I guess I need to find a stock Z06 then, it's unbelievable to me. What year Z06's do this?
It won't take a lot of EVO to keep up with the new Boss. BR Stages 1-4 would be quite a bit faster, then you need some brake pads, alignment and tires.

This kills me 700 some miles and it is already got big problems! Yep Ford assembles some high quality vehicles for sure! (Go UAW). From what he did it should not have had this happen already by any stretch.
They wonder why American cars have a bad name in quality? It's right in front of you.
You would never hear the end of something like this on here if an Evo did this.
Oh and post above bone stock means just that! NOT DRAG RADIALS!!! At least in my book anyhow.

Mr Buschur,
Not to argue with you or anything but one C 6Z06 ran 10.9 bone stock over two years ago with traps of 128MPH. I just read on this topic in one of the previous pages that you don't consider yourself a corvette enthusiast and that might explain that you haven't been in the corvette forums much (My guess).
Google the name Ranger and look at his accomplishments, he ran 10.9. Also google Jamie furlham and you will see that he also ran 10 sec pass stock on his C6 Z06.
Take care
Here are the links by the way:

and 10.7 @129.5 on DR but still stock everything else:

Yeah. . . the vast majority of all cars aren't running times they are capable of, because the majority of drivers suck. That's a given across the board. Give me badbish, I'll make it run 12s.

#2. if only 2 people in the world have done it, its the exception and not relevant. motor trend has quite good drivers. if someone musters .75 seconds better in the 1/4 in the exact same car, ill never believe it.

The question someone asked was: How does the 5.0 Mustang compare to a C6 Z06, and the answer is......it doesn't. If you want to pull up R&T or MT testing numbers, you will still have a huge gap in 1/4 run times and trap speeds. I was just posting what the Z06 is capable of in the hands of a great driver. I believe that Mr. Bushur's best numbers on the Badbish where posted by someone other than himself because he knew that they could get the most out of the car. I'm sure he could post some excellent times too, but he wanted to know what the car could do in the hands of a dragstrip guru.
Now if you start investing money and time in the 5.0 Mustang like he is, you will start creeping up on that 10 second pass and eventually obliterate the stock Z06 numbers. The question is how much money and time? I'm sure he'll give us that answer to that soon. VMP tuning has already obtained mid 10's on an automatic 5.0 with less than $10k invested.

Mr. Buschur,
i currently have a evo 9 MR and am deciding between going with a 5.0 or an evo X here shortly.
Given your experiences with both cars, what vehicle would you prefer? for a daily driver with occasional track time

There have been several 10 second passes made by stock zo6's, Also stock 8.4 liter vipers running 20's on the rear. I've driven several c6 zo6's, a 2011 zr1, 2008 8.4 liter 600hp viper, and of course my 600rwhp viper GTS and I would say dollar for dollar the zo6 is the best performance car for the money. They are underrated from gm, most believe the power to be higher than GM is saying...
