850+ miles, 5 states, 12 hours, one lunch with a fellow SuperMod, 2.75 tanks of gas, and ~28 mpg (and thats with my driving...not a hypermiler...or even paying attention to mpg -- just driving as seen fit).

Things that I have notice: new car smell rocks. No numb-butt. Lots of looks. Older guy talked to me about the car on the first fill point. Engine sounds amazing! Now that I have about 1000 miles on it. Really could get settled in and enjoy the sounds of the car. Heel/toe is very easy - everything is well placed for the driver. Stereo, SYNC, Blue Tooth -- flawless.

i commend Ford for not taking bailout $ & they are finally giving people more of what the people want. my only gripes are the radio antenna & live axle rear end. otherwise nice whip! have you thought about maybe doing E85 on it or is it already flexfuel?

Is there a forum for the new mustangs? Or is it kind of thrown in with the huge all 50 years worth of models mustang forums.

Thanks!

Well 2 antennas. Too bad we could not just have one for the sat and radio. Or moved the radio to middle/make apart of the front windshield.

Big "No E85" sticker on my fast fill gas cap. Nah to tuning for it. Its an NA motor and E85 is not available where I drive.

Dunno. But I am sure there is. Not really looking to be apart of them. I just have this vision of them being filled with aging NASCAR guys with mullets. And with the responses I got here for not getting the 5.0. I can only image the fried brains I'd see on a Mustang forum.

Guessing Ohio will be on your list for this Friday. :P

+1 for cruise! I looked at my receipts.. I put cruise on the evo within 9 days of owning it.

Ha, yep. One of the 4.

The 6th gear as overdrive is well used. Not to much trouble to shift into 5th or 4th to pass if needed. Otherwise, it was smooth sailing.

2000 mile update. Rocking out 24 ave mpg and 30-31 highway ave. And I am still not trying to get good mpg. If I can hold myself to hypermiling one of these long trips, Ill report on it.

HIDs installed - awesome night driving. Very clear, not blinding others.

MRT sold the exhaust they had put aside for me to pick up. Annoyed with their lack of organization and ability to remember orders. Cancelled and drove over to Summit Racing. Got the Flowmaster Force II Axle-back. Could not be happier. Easy install. Great sound. Not annoying in cabin - just the right note for the engine.

Definitely a clean look, nice ride, and the exhaust was not obnoxious in the least, around town or at highway speed... so funny to get used to a hood that jumps up like that under hard acceleration... this rice-guy is not used to that. not even with the m3. Thanks for stopping by, I ended up staying up to watch top gear anyway last night!

Get yourself a good ford sponsorship and you are set!
