STM 91 AWD Talon Drag Car

This build is going to take some time, but STM has been wanting to do a clean DSM for a very long time. The hardest part: Finding a clean DSM.

Step 1 complete.

The funny part is, this came in as a running, full interior car. Didn't take the boys long!

We currently have 3 Evo's and a shop FULL of customer cars, so the going might be slow, but the outcome will be worth the wait! Stay Tuned.

Ive already been contemplating selling the evo, so I can start another 1g project. I dont know what it is, with those cars. I think for me, its more of a battle to have the CLEANEST 1g in the country. Thats what I shall strive for next time.

I cant wait to see this thing come to life! Is it gonna be a full drag car, no interior? Or like the evos in the shop, 9 sec cars that can run on the street?

This car will be all out drag. Stripped clean and all business. The ricer evo will never get cut and gutted so this project will be fun.

Ah c'mon! lol. There are tons of Stripped out drag 1gs. Do it big, make it a fast *** street car 1g.

I can understand your decision though. As its a lot harder to make a decent street car out of a 1g, let alone one that can run a 10sec or lower pass at the same time. lol

That would be too easy! Heck, my evo ran a low 11 on the stock turbo.... Extra full weight! I think emery has a single digit in mind for this one.

Looks like a really good foundation to a great project. Another thread that makes me regret selling my white '91 GSX.

Sick!

Although I hope you're not going to cut a clean car!!?! What would be the point? I'd find one that needed some body work that you can cut and clean up.

Please don't cut a perfectly clean car!!!

Oh it's getting cut! If these boys plan on going down the track at 170+mph I'd rather they do it in a car with no accidents, no rust, no body work... It needs to be perfect. I don't feel bad about cutting it. She will have a good life.

Im so upset that beauty will be cut.

I would sell the evo in a heartbeat to pick up a gorgeous stock 1g like that.
