Looking at replacement while I am in Bahrain

Well the day has come. I am getting IA (individual augmentee) orders to Bahrain. My wife completely hates my Evo. LOL. She doesnt give me crap for it, just doesnt drive it. It is an 2003 RR. It has 86K and the only problems are I need a new wheel bearing (in the mail) and the drivers seat has a tear in it. I really like the New Kia Sportage and Hyundai Tuscon, I even heard the Kia model will be boosted with a 2.0L turbe (4B11). I was planning on either selling the RR or trading for a the Hyundai or Kia. When I get back from my year in the desert, I was gonna drop couple on a New Evo. Im happy, she is happy. Anybody have any words or issues with either of those two compact SUV's??

p.s. I tried the Autotrader trading in program, it offered my 9K as trade in for my Evo.
