Eclipse GT fuel door cover
sorry a weird question......
i was looking for the spring for my fuel door cover, the allimnum alloy one for a 2001 Eclipse GT
it broke and they wanna charge $125 to repalce the whole thing, when all it needs is a spring...
any one got an answer.....or a place that might sell them cheaper or know where to find the spring?

I would think that you could find the part number of the spring or even go to the junkyard and pull one out of a wreck for less money than that. They might even sell a spring the size and shape you need at a hardware store like Loews (this is just a complete shot in the dark, I really don't know). Look on http://www.eclipseforums.org/forum for more info, they would definitely know what's up over there.
