Should I build this Subaru STi
Hey guys,
I love my evo to death, i would never sell it =]
But my good friend had a built 2004 STi and blew the motor/turbo.
He is getting out of the modding game and wants to get a Honda Pilot or something silly like that.
So he is selling the rolling shell for $5000. I was thinking of picking the shell up and just throwing a stock block and stock trans in there and call it a day.
Is it worth it? I am still doing my research on how much a stock STi block is and stuff. Any help is appreciated!
Body has 49k miles
Custom amazing and professional matte black paint job
Ive done lots of evo motor work and swaps, never swapped an STi motor though!

If he blew the motor/the turbo is shot. Buy the car from your friend and remove EVERYTHING yourself, tell him he can have the motor/trans. However , you can get an 04 Sti for under 15,000 running.( sti transmissions are not cheap) all said and done you would be into it for 12k +
