I don't understand the comparison with an LS2 Vette. The LS3 Vette has been out for years now. In either case, I think a base Vette will beat an Evo, both with bolt-ons and the same driver. If it's a Z, then there is not chance in hell a bolt-on Evo will keep up with a bolt-on Z. Keep in mind the Z06 has a factory cup tire option now. My brother's Z has Super-Sports on it, and it's night and day difference and they are nowhere near a track tire.

I think the only chance an Evo has is driving against a non professional driven LS2/3 Vette. The Grandsport will be faster, and the Z is stupid amounts faster and better in almost anything performance related. The Vette is just harder to drive fast.
