Another matte clear plasti-dip (2013 Black WRX)
Sprayed this black (not sure the color name) 2013 Subaru WRX today. It's completely stock and the kid is just looking to keep his paint in great shape over the winter, as it is his DD.
First off, I will never own a black car. This car took me SO long to clean to my standards, LOL. No matter what I did, there were swipe marks. This was the longest part of the whole process.
Here is the car when it first arrived.
Masking is the most important part!
Here is a random pic with only one coat sprayed on.
All done (inside shots).

I've done this numerous times. Taking it off is easier if you put enough coats on. Also, don't let it sit in very warm weather (85 degrees). It will adhere more to the trim pieces, especially on the roof. If I ever do it again I will mask those off for sure!!! Looks good!

I've peel off the driver door on the GG Evo IX MR and the paint was flawless underneath. Resprayed it, and it blends right in like I never took it off. We'll be peeling both this WRX and the Evo in the spring; I'll post back afterwards.
Will do.
Yes, but you can't put more than 3 light coats of clear on or else it will turn frosty white. it still peels off fine, just takes a little more time.
While doing a color (matte white, matte black etc, as opposed to the matte clear) it's recommended to do 5-6 thicker coats to get good coverage. With that many coats, it's VERY easy to pull off once you're done with it.
Like 10isace said, just peel off the trim pieces before they fully cure and you'll have no problem peeling it off the paint, even in high temp climates.
