Outlander to EVO
Was wondering if anyone knows of swap on an Outlander to an Evo drive train and engine combo or if it is possible. I have a 2010 Outlander 2.4 mivec and a good friend has a EVO X (destroyed) A good question is why would you do this. 1 my Outlander is paid off and 2. I have access to an EVO X engine, tranny and drivetrain for nearly nothing in cost. If any information is available please forward.

Not worth it in the end. If you are only looking for 350 - 400ish then you'd be better off buying an STi motorset. It will probably still be cheaper then the fabrication needed for the evo x hardware to work

IIRC, there was an "Evolander" built not too long ago, of course it was using an Evo VIII platform... It was a 500hp vehicle and pretty sick at that.
If you are looking for something very unique then I say go with it, but you gotta appreciate the work you will have to put in. I say go for it, should be a cool setup.

A 4G63 Evolander is not hard to do. Find English Racing thread.
The new Evo would be harder due to technology, but an outlander is really just a Lancer with a lift kit. It has not been done before.
